Tradescantia Zebrina 'Inch Plant'

When you receive your plant don’t re-pot straight away, give it a week to get used to its new home first. This plant can tolerate some low-light situations, but it is a fan of sunshine. Needs a moderate amount of watering. Remember to always remove dead or damaged leaves.

This plant is so easy to propagate, all you need to do is cut off about a 10cm piece and leave one leaf on it to make sure the energy goes into creating roots instead of looking after leaves. Then place it in water and after about a week you should see roots form. When the roots are at least 3cm long, pot the cutting in some soil.

The size of plant you receive will range from 13 - 52 cm long, from soil up.
Your plant will be delivered in an upcycled pot, wrapped in a Grubber print cloth (much like the one pictured). However, as we only use second-hand materials the fabric may vary. Your plant should arrive looking lovely, but if any leaves are damaged just cut them off. This will do the plant no harm. Of course, we only use peat-free soil.
