The Jade plant is one of the most popular succulents - not only do they look amazing, but they are relatively easy to maintain. We personally love how ancient they look, especially when you see big ones in the windows of restaurants ushering in good luck. Jade plants are very easy to propagate, but as with most succulents they do take a while to start growing.
Step 1: Break off a leaf.

Step 2: If you can, dab the end of the leaf in some rooting hormone, or you can use aloe vera as a natural alternative.

Step 3: Place leaf in the top 1cm of soil and give it a little water. Succulents don't like too much water as it can make them rot, so we recommend watering every two weeks in summer. Then just wait for more leaves to grow!
